Our Shrewsbury location is approximately 12 miles south of downtown York on I-83. From Exit 4 (Shrewsbury), Kratz Road is a short drive. Most York residents reach us in 15 to 20 minutes.
We encourage you to bring your pet's regular food in pre-portioned bags with feeding instructions. Continuing a familiar diet helps pets transition more comfortably into boarding. We do offer meals from our pantry for a small charge per feeding if needed.
Yes. Unlike some facilities with strict checkout windows, CCK allows pickups and drop-offs any time during our boarding hours. If you pick up before noon on your pet's departure day, no boarding charge is applied for that final day.
All accommodations at both our Shrewsbury and Jarrettsville locations are fully heated and air-conditioned. Climate-controlled dog boarding is standard at CCK, not an upgrade.

Not all dogs are suited for group play, and that is completely fine. Every dog is evaluated individually. Dogs that are not cleared for Group Play participate in individual Leisure Activities instead, including nature walks, play yard time, and one-on-one TLC. We work with all temperaments.

A deposit of 25% of the total boarding charges, subject to forfeiture, is required to review and accept your reservation.
Unlike many other boarding facilities, CCK allows your pets to be picked up or dropped off anytime during our Boarding hours. Charges begin the day your pet arrives. If your pet is picked up before 12:00 pm on the day of departure, no Boarding charge will be incurred for that final day.
